 Connecting to your mySQL Databases
Web Wiz Host hosting accounts come with mySQL 5 Database support. Our mySQL Database servers all run on Windows 2008 Server with Intel Quad-Core Xeon Processors and ultra fast 15,000RPM SCSI hard drives. This creates a fast a reliable database system for your web site backend.
You can create mySQL databases in your accounts Control Panel. Once you have created your mySQL database use the connection information shown below to connect to your mySQL database from within your ASP or ASP.NET applications.

Management Tools
Included with all our mySQL Databases is a range of management tools. Please log into your Client Area account where you can find a link to the online database tools from the 'My Hosting Accounts' section.
*Our database servers can only be connected to from within our network, connections to our databases servers from outside our network are blocked to protect your data from hackers using automated hacking tools. You can use the online tools provided to manage, backup, and restore your databases.
